Science Festival Adult Events

This year, miSci is partnering with It Came From Schenectady and Science on Tap for a movie night and discussion on November 7, 2017 at the GE Theater at Proctors. $9/Adults, $6/Students with IDs

STEM Summit Professional Development Workshop for Educators

The STEM Summit is a FREE professional development workshop for educators. It will take place on Wednesday, November 8th from 4:15 - 8:00 PM. There will be food, beverages, and SWAG for the first 50 registrants. Workshop presenters include the Dudley Observatory, Everfi, Fox Vision Development Center - and more to come! Registration will open in early October. 

Science Festival Performers

The festival tent will be bursting during the Science Festival! Enjoy live birds with Whispering Willow Wildcare on Friday and Saturday. Don't miss our headlining performers, Audiobody, presenting high-tech comedy Friday & Saturday at 3 pm and Sunday at 3:30 pm!

Science Festival General Admission

Science Festival is included in general miSci admission! Everyone attending the Science Festival will be issued a wristband. Visitors can enter and leave miSci throughout the day without re-purchasing admission as long as they have their wristbands. If you lose your wristband, you may present your receipt to the Admissions Desk or Membership Desk to receive a new one.

There are new activities every day of the Science Festival! Experience them all for free with a miSci membership. Not sure if you are ready for a membership? Come explore miSci - you have 30 days to apply the admission you paid* towards your membership fee! 

*restrictions apply. Admission receipt must be presented for credit to be applied. 

Science Festival for Groups

Groups are welcome to book trips during the Science Festival for self-guided tours of the museum. This will include all Science Festival activities excluding the Planetarium or Challenger Learning Center, which will require an additional fee. Availability for group bookings is limited. Inquire at 518-382-7890 x 228. 

Parking during the Science Festival

In addition to the miSci parking lot, additional lots are available for parking during the Science Festival.  

Food and Drink during the Science Festival

Now you can stay at the Science Festival even longer! Given to Fry will be on site at the Science Festival selling food for all!
